Updated: Oct 11, 2022

PAVE Prevention, Inc., led by Olympian CEO Arlene Limas, has recently completed its 2.5-day Summit on the reduction of violence in the workplace at the Omni Hotel in downtown Chicago. The PAVE Summit 2022 garnered diverse in-person and virtual attendance from around the globe, with sessions led by keynote speakers from sectors hardest hit by violence in the workplace. Among those speakers were three decorated Olympians who led vigorous discussions on violence in sports and beyond featuring Arlene Limas, OLY, Danielle Scott, OLY, and Nancy Hogshead-Makar, OLY.

The PAVE Summit united decision-makers from different sectors to collectively examine the causes of workplace violence, and its critical intersections, resulting in the co-authoring of practical solutions that would lead to change within their own companies and industries overall. The data and results of the Summit will be formally outlined in the PAVE Report which will be distributed to all participants, crediting collaborators and outlining key takeaways from the event.

“For me, it surpassed all expectations. Just hearing the conversations, hearing and witnessing the presentations that we being made, and knowing that sectors like the hospitality, healthcare, and emergency preparedness sectors that impact our lives directly every day and the inclusion of the sports sector with it’s position and opportunity to usher in change are collaborating. It has been an amazing experience for me, and an incredibly second step in the journey of PAVE Prevention and we are excited to witness the dominoes falling in the opposite direction and see where they lead. I owe so much gratitude to those who took time out of their day to jump in for a session virtually, and those who dedicated their time over two and a half days in person. It truly is incredible, and I am left inspired and energized.” - PAVE CEO, Arlene Limas The PAVE Summit 2022 hosted the following keynote Speakers:
